On monday, Nov. 30 we had to stand in front of a class and tell 3 things about ourselves and one of them was a lie. The class had to guess which was the lie. I am not good at speeches and lying so it was pretty hard for me. I don't get that nervous but I'm not comfortable either. It's just not my thing. But some people are entertainers and they love being in front of the audience. lot of students were pretty good at fooling the class but some just gave it away with their body language. I learned that body language can make a big difference and can ruin your speech. It's really important to be aware of your body language when presenting something. At the end we had to tell a short story about our weekend . I didn't really do much, so I did not have much to share.

Adjectives:
Balance- adjustments, proportion
Confirmed- accuracy
fixed- attached
inflexible- not flexible
level- having flat or even surface.
secure- not exposed to danger

  1. I think the body language gave us a hint in order to know which was a lie.It also helps you to know if the person is nerveous.

  2. Anna,
I'd like to ask If you would keep this blog online? It would be a helpful resource to future sections of Concept Development. At least thru the end of Spring, 2010.
    Thanks,
    Jimmy
