Playing Games

So far, this was the best class time I had. It reminded me of my childhood years when I used to get together with my brothers and play games. We don't really have time to play games anymore, each one of us are so busy studying, working, and running around like robots that we don't have the time to sit and play games as adults. When I play games it disconnects me from this world and I feel like a kid again. I forget that I have responsibilities and loose track of time, especially when I'm playing poker. The whole class time we played games in groups. Our group played two games. The first one we played was Uno and Sorry, which I never played before. They were both fun and exciting. I liked Uno better better because card games are my favorite and also involves more strategy and thinking. However, Sorry is as exciting and fun but its all based on luck. I like a game that involves a little challenge. Im also very competitive when it comes to games but I don't take games seriously because you cannot play a game and have fun at the same time being serious. You have to talk and joke and laugh and distract the opponent.j.k.
Our homework for Wednesday is to map out the game that we played. We have to pick one of the games that we played and we have to visually structure on a piece of paper. We have to focus on some questions that Jimmy pointed out like, What is the experience of the game? What was your experience playing the game? Experience? Conflict? ups & Downs? I think this is going to be pretty exciting.
